Pre War History

(720-700 BC)~-1420-1400:

 

-A massive volcanic event forces the Lhakhik people from their homeland; the Lhakhik people arrive on the Kheldian Continent, and take up their name. Shortly after, one of the surviving clans discovers Tarengheth,Tarengheth, meets the surviving civilization there, and integrates. They found the Haghethik religion.

(0 AD)~-700:

-Elhash the Great conquers the disparate Lhakhik territories to bring them under a single rule, creating the Elhasharhik Empire

(200 AD)~-500:

 

-Internal turmoil—spurred by the philosophies of St. Belorv—cause the country of Belorvhar to secede, and the Elhasharik Empire falls soon afterward

~400:

 

-The Lhakhik Empire is formally established, and begins to stretch southward.

-At a similar time, the Kardarnl Empire is established from the remains of previous dynasties and regions. They begin to stretch northward as well as southward.

(600-700 AD)~-100-0:

 

-The tenuous peace between Karda and Lhakhar snaps, leading to a war that lasts roughly a century.

 

-Lisidion is (re)discovered and settled by refugees and runaway slaves of the war seeking a new land for themselves, aboard the ship the Lisidë; over the course of the following decades, a new culture develops

 

-The war is brought to an end when a group of Lisidionites and refugees from mixed backgrounds encounter a pryor, Vani Taalesin, on Lisidion; Vani proposes a possible, supernatural means of bringing an end to the animosity between nations, and setting a standard for peace that may continue its influence for generations to come.
